Degradation Device
This system allows you to restart progression while keeping part of your achievements.
Using the degradation device resets your character progression and level, allowing you to begin development again.
However, some things remain unchanged:
▪ collected resources
▪ protein and hormones
▪ colony membership
▪ progress in quests and puzzles
Level Points
After degradation you can quickly restore part of your lost levels.
For each lost level you receive special level points. These points allow you to instantly restore about half of the lost progress.
Level points have several limitations:
▪ they cannot be saved for later
▪ if you have a level point, it will be automatically used when you level up
▪ they cannot all be invested into a single skill
Lost levels are restored in a mostly balanced way across skills, with a slight preference toward the skills you will prefer over others.
Degradation Cost
Resetting progression requires resources.
Using the degradation device consumes protein and hormones.
The cost depends directly on your level: the higher your level, the more expensive the degradation becomes.
Location
You can find the degradation device in a specific game zone.
The device is located in the Lake of Life area.
